Dear patients & patient-partners,

The main goal of the Lupus Brain Fog Severity Scale (LBFSS) study is to understand brainfog in SLE and, as a deliverable, to develop an instrument (questionnaire) to assess the severity of brainfog globally and across its main dimensions.

We believe this is an important endeavor, as brainfog has typically been included as ‘a whole’ in previous studies, while we have been taking a step ‘back’ to understand what is actually brainfog, from the patient perspective.

in this (final) step, you will be asked several questions about 'your' brainfog, and then to test the LBFSS questionnaire as well as another (non-lupus) brainfog questionnaire.
